7 Material Design and Construction: 材料的设计和构造
7.1 It shall be free from apparent defects: 它不能有外观上的缺陷
7.2 The material used in the battery shall be such that it will comply with requirement of this standard.

7.3 Each cell shall be provided with removable vent plugs or it shall have a venting system.
每个电池应提供可移动的输出插头或者它应具备一个输出的系统。 7.4 Each cell shall be sealed within the container. 每个电池应封存在一个容器中。
7.5 The container shall be strong and made of material not affected by acids. 该容器应坚固并且由防酸的材料制成。
7.6 The cells shall be filled with diluted sulphuric acid having specific gravity of 1.28.

7.10 The sealing shall withstand the temperature variations without cracking or changing shape when a filled battery is subjected to temperature range from -10oC to
60oC.

7.11 The battery shall retain the liquid electrolyte and no leak occur when it is tilted through 45o from the vertical on each of its two wide sides alternatively. 当它垂直于它的两边中任意一边被倾斜45度时,电池应保持液态电解质并且没有泄漏。 7.12 The connection between cells shall be made of lead or lead alloys and have enough cross sectional area.
