(2) burn 作不及物动词,意为 “着火,燃烧”;作及物动词, 意为“烧毁,烧伤”;其过去式和过去分词是burnt,burnt 或burned,burned。常用搭配burn down。例: The old town hall was burnt down in the 1970s.
