Any change for the 4 aspects in suppliers should be reported out as 4M change. If the change follow GM formal process, such as EWO change procedure, or BTAB procedure, then no need follow 4M process

4. Important Things About 4M Change Make sure any change happens in supplier, which will have impact on parts or process, is reported out All 4M changes need to be approved by customers before implementation PTR is required if the change has potential impact on vehicle assembly
Clear “Break Point” shall be set up to identify parts with 4M change
