In our class meeting, a fol artist invited by our monitor gave us a lesson on paper cutting. As soon as he entered the classroom, he was given a warm welcome. After a brief introduction, he told us that Chinese paper cutting is a traditional art form and that it’s a ind of fol culture with a long history. Then he showed us the basic steps and sills of paper cutting, after which he instructed us how to cut the paper into different shapes as we watched attentively. Net, we started to have a try on our own. The fol artist waled around us, guiding us patiently. Much to our joy, all of us showed our wors and too a picture with him.
Admiring the different shapes cut by ourselves, we were etremely ecited. I have benefited a lot from this eperience, hoping we can have more activities of this ind in the future.
